About Rasika Batra
Rasika Batra contributes to Leapfrog’s client projects as a culture expert and a semiotician. For over 25 years, she has worked with insights – first as a Qualitative researcher and then as a Semiotician. This has enabled her to understand communication and consumer behaviour from both the receiver and the senders’ perspectives.
Over the years, Rasika has worked across categories and brands while with Quantum Consumer Solutions, MART, Kantar (IMRB) and Technopak Advisors to name a few. A HUL certified lead, her strength lies in arriving at insights and developing new methodologies especially for subjects that do not find easy articulation. She has a deep interest in social development and has been part of long-term projects with Vihara Innovation Network (CKS) and Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (CSBC, Ashoka University) with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, nutritional patterns and communication intervention for vaccine uptake.
Rasika is a trained counsellor and life coach and works with clients independently. She has several certifications in this subject area. She loves the written word and Indian craft and is a keen traveller, photographer, cook and aspiring potter.
